A blossoming relationship with Royal Horticulture Society

The RHS Headquarters at 80 Vincent Square specialises in the preservation and display of botanical art and garden history and is home to the worlds finest horticultural library and associated collection.

The iconic Lindley Hall, named after English botanist John Lindley opened in 1904 as a purpose-built exhibition space specifically designed to let in an abundance of natural light through its stunning glass-vaulted ceiling.

Lindley Hall is one of the largest uninterrupted floor spaces in Central London, playing host to hundreds of events each year ranging from London Fashion Week shows to botanic art exhibitions and weddings. In 2016, the historic Halls hosted a youth inspiring conference with main guest speaker - 44th President of the United States, Barrack Obama during his final UK visit.

Our initial site inspection helped us identify key areas of the building that were in urgent need of our teams expertise to restore the grade II listed buildings iconic appeal.

During the mobilisation stage, Contract Manager - Paula Restrepo and her Team meticulously removed all accumulated dirt, stains and embedded glitter (yes glitter!) from the 9,418 sq ft of original herringbone flooring before applying polish to seal and protect, showcasing its high shine and rich colour.

Marianne Giovanelli, Facilities Manager at RHS had this to say about the work achieved at site:

"From the tender stage through to mobilisation, the response has been great. So smooth and efficient, I hope this is the start of long partnership.

The icing on the cake though has been the clean this weekend, it’s been fantastic. Everywhere I went this morning the staff were commenting - wow is this the same office?...A very big well done to everyone especially Paula and her crew of cleaners."
