As an employer of more than 250 employees, City & Essex are required by law to carry out Gender Pay Gap Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. This involves carrying out six calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women in our organisation: it does not involve publishing individual data.
We are required to publish the results on our own website and a government website. Below is that information.
City & Essex's gender pay gap compares favourably with that of the national gender pay gap of 15.5% as reported by the Office of National Statistics for all employees (part-time and full time) and within the administrative and support services sector.
We believe that diversity brings strength within our business, and whilst we understand our gender pay gap, we are committed to making City & Essex a more inclusive and equal organisation and industry.
