As an employer of more than 250 employees, City & Essex are required by law to comply with regulations (Equality Act 2010: Regulations 2017) on Gender Pay Gap reporting. This requires employers to annually report and publish specific figures about their gender pay gap.
This process involves carrying out six calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women in our organisation: it does not involve publishing individual data.
City & Essex's gender pay gap compares favourably with that of the 2020-2021 national gender pay gap (UK) of 15.4% as reported by the Office of National Statistics for all employees (part-time and full time) and within the administrative and support services sector. 2021-2022 Office of National Statistics data pending.
We believe that diversity brings strength to our business, and we are committed to making City & Essex a more inclusive and equal organisation.
