We’re delighted to share that City & Essex has once again been awarded UhUb Ambassador Engaged Business status for 2025, for the second year in a row.
This award recognises organisations that achieve and sustain exceptional levels of training engagement through UhUb, in our case, maintaining at least 90% of colleagues fully trained and engaged over a continuous 60-month period.
What the Ambassador Engaged award means
The UhUb Ambassador Engaged status is reserved for businesses that don’t just use training platforms, but embed learning into the way they operate.
For City & Essex, this means:
- Keeping over 90% of our people fully trained and engaged on UhUb for over 60 months.
- Ensuring training is consistent, accessible, and relevant for teams across all sites.
- Treating learning not as a one-off event, but as an ongoing part of everyday work.
Last year, we were recognised for maintaining over 95% trained colleagues for 48 months. Building on that and reaching the 60-month milestone shows how deeply learning and development are woven into the culture of our business.

A partnership we’re proud of
We’re especially proud of how naturally UhUb fits into the way we work. It isn’t just software in the background, it’s an active part of how we:
- Onboard new team members.
- Keep skills refreshed and up to date.
- Maintain consistent standards across multiple locations.
- Demonstrate to our customers that training is real, measurable, and ongoing.
What this means for our customers
For our customers, this is more than a badge, it’s reassurance that the people looking after your spaces are trained to a high, consistent standard, that skills and compliance are maintained over time, not just at the start of a contract, and that you’re partnering with a provider that invests in its people and continually improves. For us, training isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about delivering safer, cleaner, better-managed environments, and this award is a reflection of that ongoing commitment.
A huge thank you to our teams
This award belongs first and foremost to the people who show up every day and commit to learning:
- Our cleaning teams who complete their modules, stay up to date, and take pride in their skills.
- Our managers and supervisors who champion training and make space for it in busy schedules.
- Our support teams who help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your consistency and effort over the past five years have made this achievement possible, so thank you!
