Our Five-Year Partnership With The Mental Health Charter

At City & Essex, our people are the most important part of our business. That belief sits at the heart of how we work, how we lead, and how we build thriving workplaces for our customers and colleagues.

We are proud to mark five years of commitment to the Mental Health Charter. For us, this is more than a milestone. It reflects a long-term promise to support mental well-being, encourage open conversations, and create a culture where our colleagues feel valued, respected, and able to do their best.

Our approach to wellbeing is practical and ongoing. We support our teams through visible leadership, regular communication, training, and access to mental health and well-being resources. We know that when people feel supported, they perform better, stay longer, and help create stronger, more resilient workplaces.

This commitment also reflects the wider culture we want to build across City & Essex: one based on care, trust, and long-term support. Whether on site, in the office, or supporting customers behind the scenes, we believe great service starts with looking after the people who make it happen.

As we mark five years with the Mental Health Charter, we remain focused on the same principle that has guided us throughout: our people come first!
