Behind London’s busy workplaces and iconic buildings are cleaning teams who put care and pride into everything they do. Thank Your Cleaner Day is a chance to pause, celebrate their contribution and say a well-deserved thank you.
At City & Essex, that starts with our 900+ colleagues. Every day, they look after hundreds of buildings across London, helping to make them clean, safe and welcoming. We’re proud of our teams and grateful for the care and commitment they bring to their work.
Cleaning takes skill, knowledge and attention to detail. Much of it happens behind the scenes, often outside the usual working day, so the people doing it don’t always get the recognition they deserve. We want to help change that by championing our industry and showing just how much its people contribute.
Across our sites, teams are marking the occasion with a few treats and taking time to show their appreciation. It’s a chance to bring people together and let colleagues know how much they’re valued.
We’d also like to say thank you to cleaning professionals and companies across the industry who continue to show up, take pride in their work and deliver high standards, even when things are challenging.
And to the suppliers and partners who work alongside us: thank you for the support, expertise and ideas that help our teams do their jobs every day.
To our wonderful colleagues and everyone who plays a part in our profession, thank you for all that you do. Your hard work and care deserve to be recognised and appreciated every day.
