The Living Wage Foundation has announced new Real Living Wage rates of £13.45 across the UK and £14.80 in London, an increase designed to keep pay aligned with the cost of living. Employers have six months to implement these new rates, with a deadline of 1 May 2026.

At City & Essex, we’re proud to be a Recognised Living Wage Service Provider since 2014.  Fair pay has always been central to how we do business. We continue to work closely with our customers, partners, and suppliers who share these values, ensuring fair and sustainable employment for everyone connected to our business.

For us, the Real Living Wage movement is about more than pay, it’s about respect, dignity, and long-term sustainability. We’re proud to stand alongside employers who share this belief and remain committed to raising standards together.
