Redefining Glass Protection at the U.S. Embassy

We were proud to attend a truly special event at the U.S. Embassy in London, hosted by our valued partners, Diamon-Fusion International (DFI). As an exclusive UK distributor of DFI’s cutting-edge, patented glass protection nanotechnology, it was an honour to see this innovative solution showcased in such a prestigious setting.

The event brought together people from various sectors to explore how DFI’s patented hydrophobic coating offers a smarter, more sustainable approach to long-term glass care. By molecularly bonding with the glass, the coating enhances clarity, increases resistance to corrosion and scratches, and significantly reduces maintenance, while also lowering water usage and the need for harsh cleaning products.

The presentation was not only a technical deep dive into the science of this technology but a powerful reminder of how innovation, sustainability, and forward-thinking collaboration go hand in hand to drive real, long-term improvements.

Great British Spring Clean 2025

Another year, another successful Great British Spring Clean!

Our Head Office team once again took to the streets, dedicating their time and energy to keeping our local community clean. This year, we collected an impressive 41 kg of litter, bringing our cumulative total to 221 kg (the weight of a grand piano) over the years.

A huge thank you to our incredible team for stepping up, making a difference, and proving that small actions can lead to a cleaner, greener environment. Here’s to another year of positive impact!

Celebrating Sustainability at the 2025 CCAS Awards

Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Clean City Awards Scheme (CCAS) 2025, an event organised by the City of London Corporation to honour businesses making a real impact in sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Now in its 31st year, the awards continue to bring together organisations dedicated to reducing waste, cutting carbon emissions, and driving sustainable change. This year, we were especially proud to celebrate the success of our partners, who achieved Gold Awards in the Communication & Engagement and Circular Economy categories. Their commitment to sustainability, innovative waste reduction strategies, and proactive engagement with building occupants has set a high standard for environmental leadership.

Seeing so many organisations come together to champion a cleaner, greener future was truly inspiring. The event reinforced the importance of collaboration and innovation in creating lasting environmental change.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants! We are proud to work alongside such forward-thinking organisations and look forward to continuing our shared journey towards a more sustainable city.

Our Tree-Planting Journey Continues!

We’re kicking off 2025 with exciting news – another 5,000 trees have been planted in partnership with Ecologi, bringing our total to an incredible 26,011 trees worldwide!

But for us, this isn’t just about the numbers. Every tree we plant represents a step toward a healthier planet, a greener future, and a commitment to sustainability. Trees absorb carbon, restore ecosystems, and protect biodiversity – so each one truly makes a difference.

What’s Next?
Our tree-planting mission is far from over, and we have big plans to keep expanding our sustainability initiatives and making an even greater impact. Whether it’s planting more trees, reducing our carbon footprint, or helping our customers reach their own sustainability targets, we’re committed to creating lasting change.

Proud Winners at the National Recycling Awards

We’re beyond thrilled to share that we’ve won the National Recycling Award for Recycling Excellence – Site Management at one of our customer’s properties.

This prestigious recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to sustainable waste management. We’re proud to have helped achieve an impressive 73% recycling rate at this property, surpassing the goal of 65%.

This was made possible through a variety of significant initiatives, including:

  • The use of our self-developed ThinkGreen waste management system to simplify the waste process and enhance engagement with occupiers.
  • Implementing bespoke waste sacks to identify and segregate each stream easily.
  • Waste room decoration and hand-painted for better visibility of the waste process.
  • Engagement and training sessions for occupiers and waste operatives.
  • Bespoke auditing and reporting for occupier floors and each company.
  • Implementing re-use schemes.

We’re honoured to be recognised for our collaborative efforts in creating an efficient and sustainable recycling operation. Together, we’re paving the way for a greener future!

The Green Apple Awards 2024

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to celebrate the successes of our amazing customers at the prestigious Green Apple Awards!

We were immensely proud to see so many of the projects we’ve been a part of receive the recognition they truly deserve. Over the past year, our self-developed waste management system, Think Green, has played a key role in helping these customers revolutionise the way waste is managed and reported.

Out of the eleven award submissions that incorporated Think Green, an impressive nine received an award or received the “highly commended” accolade. This remarkable achievement speaks volumes about the dedication, collaboration, and innovation that our partnerships have fostered.

Working alongside such committed building teams has been an absolute pleasure. Together, we improved decision-making processes, enhanced data accuracy, boosted recycling rates, and increased tenant engagement. It’s been a transformative journey, and the results reflect the power of collaboration and forward-thinking.

The Green Apple Awards ceremony was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate these accomplishments and the impact they have had on sustainability and waste management. We were thrilled to cheer on all the winners and those making significant strides in their industries.
